![]() Unless of course you're on a defensive position in the beginning and the enemy moves first, in which case it is absolutely to your advantage to have every one deployed in the main base camp to maximize enemy casualties when defending against their ambush etc.A Darcsen, she was in hiding for fear of Imperial hunters until news that her love, Karl, was in danger drove her to enlist. Good stuff.ĮDIT:- Also, if there's one very important thing I've learnt, do not deploy other classes (besides Kurt of course) to a non Base Camp starting point, as you'd either have to waste the 1 CP to recall them later, or you'd have to move them to a base camp for extraction (which can cost even more CP). Sometimes, if I have some spare CPs for that turn, and the objective requires you capture multiple base camps ftw, I'd just position a scout near the final objective and let her loiter in that area until the other enemies have been dealt with. Turn 3:- Eliminate the Stragglers (or just the Aces/Leaders/Tanks/Towers for exp) and Win with S Rank. ![]() Replace scouts with base defenders, Kurt is often shifted to a better position, he needs to be kept on the map at the end of a turn, else you lose one CP next turn since he is a Captain. Turn 2:- Global map control and enemy reinforcements curtailed. (sometimes map control comes in this turn, depends on how many connecting maps are involved and the objectives). Turn 1:- Solo Scout Rush with Riela/Valerie/Amy/Alfons/Japanese Dude. I have 5 of them and give them the best AP/acc/AntiPersonnel acessories to make sure the enemy grunt guarding the base camp is a definite goner in the same turn as I move the Scout so you can occupy them in the same turn. Lol, I think ratio is a bit skewed in that direction anyway.Īnd yes, Scout Elites are godlike on any map. Or a Sasuke without the angst and despair.ĮDIT:- Oh and ohlawd, Chapter 7 did not disappoint. In VC3, Riela (perhaps even Alfons with that mistress of his) is instead the one placed into those situations.īasically another Lelouch from CF, but a lot less outlandish. He also seldom gets placed into those situations by the scenario writers. Basically he's not the character type to embarass themselves or display any flaws openly to others. His interactions with Imca in particular are hilarious since they both occupy the same spectrum (albeit she's a heck of a lot more anti-social than he is at the beginning), and they get rather competitive with one another.īland is good. He fulfills the dispassionate tensai (genius) trope who eventually learns the meaning of camaraderie, mamoru/nakama/etc and warms to the rest of the group and treats them as more than just chess pieces to be moved across the board. I find that Kurt's personality (or lack thereof as you mentioned in your post) rather fitting for someone in his position, background and the situation he was thrown into. It's the first legit story mission I've had to settle for an A, breaking the S streak since the beginning, can't replay it either, arghhh. ![]() The heavy armor dude (fucker is built like a tank and took a few shots to take down from a Lancer, no matter the direction, he can't be pushed out of the way either by the APC and his weapon his super effective against the APC.) and the tank guarding route up towards the final destination in the final zone cockblocked me and I had to deal with them, which spilled over into the next turn. On an unrelated note that last Borgia APC escort mission when you have face off against the Dahau elite troops for the 2nd time around is pretty damn hard. Actually, from what I observed when unlocking it further, it seems like Amy's Fragment mission is coupled together with Deit's (the Darksen Armor/Sniper dude), so you pretty much have to trigger the second half (and the culminating battle) by using Deit a heck of a lot (in missions and racking up kills), and you'll get it. ![]()
